Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Like most good things, our story began with one such beautiful friendship. To be more specific, it started in 1996, when Jonathan and Chris met as high school freshmen. To be honest, Jonathan wasn't crazy about Chris, but after a few years, the geeky guy grew on him and the two became good friends.

At the height of the internet bubble in 1999, the seniors decided the web was a good place to start a business. And they were right, though their timing was just a bit off. After one year of pounding Mountain Dews and working tirelessly on a user-generated entertainment listings site for 13 to 20 year-olds, the bubble had burst and the young entrepreneurs grew busy enough with college that they mutually decided to solely pursue their education and careers.

Fast forward to 2006. Time was good to the peers, who had both gained significant amounts of interactive marketing, strategic planning, business, and web development experience due to employments with industry leaders in their fields. Still friends and working near one another, Jonathan and Chris went to lunch one weekday, expecting nothing more than the typical catch-up and laughs. Over Chinese fast food, they unexpectedly began to discuss all the advances in the web since they had tried their hand at entrepreneurship all those years ago. Both excited by their similar perspective of the marketplace and the opportunity to start fresh and work together again—this time with the right experience and at the right time—the duo shook on it and began tossing around ideas to figure out what would mark their second foray together.

Each balancing regular 8-to-5 jobs and relatively new marriages, development was steady, but slower than they would have liked. So, armed with a few unique business concepts and solid plan, the team found an angel in Jeff Goble, bringing him on to act as Chairman and provide added wisdom and capital to speed up development. Officially naming the venture Tag Team Interactive for the way the two friends often worked together, a startup was born.

In November of 2007, Tag Team launched their second application, blippr, which leverages the power of relationship and conversation to provide people medium for radically short ratings and reviews about the books, games, movies, music, and TV they love (and hate).

That about brings you up to speed with us. But considering what we do, there's plenty more up head.
